Bedford Funds, LP
An important part of our mission is to help advance dialogue, policy, science, and the commercialization of technologies that allow the US economy to transform to a carbon neutral system.
Recently, we partnered with a new ESG Investment Vehicle to pursue much of our commercial activity.
We also work through the university technology transfer activities of the Energy Innovation Center including:
University of Pittsburgh,
Penn State,
Carnegie Mellon University,
Robert Morris University,
And with our over 200 corporate, government, and philanthropic partnerships, including:
Siemens, Eaton, Johnson Controls, UPMC, BASF, McAuley Ministries, Partner4Work (WIB) Royal Dutch Shell, US Department of Energy, US Department of Defense, United Rentals, Key Bank, Dollar Bank, Heinz Endowments, RK Mellon Foundation, Hillman Foundations, Pittsburgh, Foundation, Federal Republic of Germany, City of Pittsburgh, and many many others.
Both the EICI and Bedford focus on downstream energy technologies, battery technologies, micro-grids, direct-current technologies, and smart building / smart cities technologies.
This effort is focused on Bedford Funds, LP and its investment partners including Exus Partners, and the Alliance for Building Energy technologies.
